A package in the mail last evening provided something to do today. I desperately needed relief from the boredom of another day at home. The weather isn’t exactly providing the necessary incentives to go outdoors. It’s very overcast and cool here in Oregon, hardly what I’d call summer. However, there will be many a future day in Florida when I’ll wish for the coolness of Portland. Regardless, there’s nothing better than a good mystery on a boring day where my only project is to cook dinner,

The second box from Hunt A Killer arrived, so I can continue my quest to find the murderer of Viola Vane (Viktoria Gaina). I did find the murder weapon in box one, but that only took a couple hours. Hopefully, this stage will take a little longer. There’s a lot of reading to do, codes to decipher, a cuff-link, an embroidered handkerchief with monogram, and suspects to eliminate. Her remains were recently discovered in the attic above the Cadence Theatre stage. I was hired by the owner, Julia Alder, to find the killer. Apparently, police tape is just as much a detriment to attendance as the Coronavirus.

Today, I’ll start by making a timeline, dating back to 1933 when we believe the murder took place. Viola was the lead in the play, “The Strange Duo.” along with her fiance Hector Rolland. I’ve also made a list of suspects, including Hector – the goal of this episode is to eliminate one. I’ll keep you posted on my progress, as I attempt to solve this ??? Mystery.
