We’ve got a busy week ahead with no time for even “Matinee Monday.” Our giant pottery urns for each side of the driveway and matching garden fountain will be delivered this morning. I also have to call Coast to Coast Pools for help with the new pool heater that is currently in alarm status. After my standard Monday chiropractor appointment, I have to go to the local Social Security office to resolve a Medicare issue that will probably involve a long wait. Then, we’ll drive to Tampa to pick up our latest house  guest at the airport, stop for dinner, and watch the Bears lose to the Steelers.

Tomorrow will entail some sightseeing, perhaps a beach picnic, and the first I.U. basketball game of the season. Wednesday, we’re picking up a rental car for our Thursday drive to the Kennedy Space Center. It’s my friend’s 70th birthday, joining me in that special club, so we’re going on a Dolphin spotting cruise followed by dinner. We’ll return to the house on Friday night after crossing the state and drive to the  Sarasota airport for his Saturday afternoon flight, after possibly stopping by the Marie Selby Gardens or Ringling Museum for the last of our whirlwind tour. In the meantime, we’re dropping off Tally at Schnauzerland, returning the rental car, planting our urns. Whew!

Last night was the first two episodes of the fourth season of Yellowstone. We missed the first half-hour trying to find it on the Paramount Network that required a subscription. As it turned out, Paramount actually showed it on CMT for free, hoping to boost sampling. I couldn’t figure out where it was and ended up buying the season on Amazon Prime that will be shown the following day. To me, it was very confusing, but that may be just old man syndrome. I cancelled Paramount after all that effort in signing up once I found out the show was elsewhere. It was quite the hassle and still doesn’t make sense to me.
