At the end of my run today I had some extra energy, a rarity these days of now being seventy. It never makes sense based on what I ate and drank or how I rested. Too much chocolate, a bit more wine than usual, and a rough night’s sleep should have made me sluggish. It had to be the fact that all my teams won yesterday and that there will be another day of White Sox playoff baseball. Or, it could be that I’m simply looking forward to finally seeing the new James Bond movie. At any rate, my attitude is very positive this morning. Bond….James Bond!

I’ve been waiting a long time for No Time To Die. One of my pandemic projects was to go back and watch them all in anticipation. However, then the theatres and production studios closed and the premiere was delayed again and again. (See Post #1531.) Well, today is “Matinee Monday,” so no time to wait. I will see the show this afternoon, then watch the White Sox try to extend their season yet another game. There’s a lot to look forward to today. This despite all the doom and gloom on Facebook about the stock market crashing, high gas prices, new virus strains, and tax changes that will adversely affect our retirement income.

Today’s excitement is enhanced by another trip to the chiropractor, but with fewer aches and pains. I may have only one adjustment this week. It’s also the  Holiday once known as Columbus Days but now recognized as Indigenous Peoples’ Day. At any rate, there will be no mail, so no baseball cards or bills to sort. It’s also a beautiful Florida day of sunshine with no rain in the forecast, so certainly no time to die.
