It’s a Shameless Monday, another episode of the raunchy comedy to keep me entertained. There’s not much else going on. I called my sister to wish her a Happy Birthday and got an earful about my upcoming vaccine. There is so much disturbing misinformation out there, but I feel that getting the shot is the right thing to do. How can something so simple be so controversial? Yet, there’s an entire faction of the population that feels like you’re either being microchipped, infected, or genetically altered. This has been the case with every preventative medical procedure throughout history. It’s a “shame” that so many people feel this way.
In the evenings of late it’s been the Ted Danson comedy, Mr. Mayor, after completing the final episode of The Sinner. In between, we watched Coming 2 America. I tried to watch the CNN Lincoln documentary Divided We Stand and Stanley Tucci’s Italy but these more educational presentations didn’t hold my interest. I’m also struggling with James Patterson’s latest book, Walk in My Combat Boots, so non-intellectual, shameless comedy seems to be the extent of what I can absorb these days. For variety, it’s still Curse of Oak Island, Gold Rush, Pawn Brokers, and American Pickers. Too much time sitting on my butt in front of the TV! Shameless!
